Michael is a private funds lawyer with over 20 years of experience.  Michael is ranked among the leading individuals for China investment funds and China financial services regulations by Chambers Asia Pacific and is a recommended lawyer in the areas of investment funds and financial services regulations by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific since 2013.

Michael’s practice focuses on the structuring and formation of private equity, private credit and hedge funds and regularly advises on secondaries, co-investment arrangements, seeding arrangements and LP investments.  Michael also has extensive experience advising on regulatory matters relating to asset managers. His clients include some of the Asia largest fund managers, sovereign wealth funds and financial institutions.

Michael is a member of the regulatory committee and digital asset working group at AIMA and is a frequent contributor to funds and financial services publications and is a regular speaker at industry events.
