Career
Luis Enrique Graham has extensive experience in complex civil and commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution procedures, dedicating his full-time practice to commercial litigation and domestic and international arbitration before the International Criminal Court, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution (American Arbitration Association), the London Court of International Arbitration, North American Free Trade Agreement/International Centre of Settlement of Investment Disputes, and other tribunals. He also counsels clients in connection with investigations and anticorruption regulations, including Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (and other U.S. regulations) and local anticorruption regulations throughout Latin America and other international instruments. Luis Enrique provides counsel to companies highly exposed to class actions. He is a former president of the Mexican Bar Association and former co-chair of the Construction Arbitration Committee of ALARB. Luis Enrique is also a former member of the Consultation Advisory Committee of the Mexican Ministry of Public Service for Anticorruption Matters (Mexican federal government). He also participates as a Mexican delegate at the United Nations, in UNCITRAL's Working Group of Commercial Arbitration and Conciliation / Dispute Settlement. In law school, he obtained the "Gabino Barreda Medal," which is the distinction awarded by the National University of Mexico to the student with the highest grade point average of its class. He also obtained the First Prize in the 1980 Oratory Competition at the Faculty of Law of the National Autonomous University of Mexico.
