Joerg Herwig has a perennial experience in advising on private equity and mergers and acquisitions and has accompanied many international and national corporate and sponsor clients in their takeovers, acquisitions, auctions, divestitures, carve-outs, joint ventures, restructurings and other general corporate matters, including management participation programs, shareholders' agreements as well as warranty and indemnity insurances.

He regularly gives presentations on such topics. He is also a notary public in Frankfurt. Joerg is active in the German recruiting and pro bono activities of Hogan Lovells and an active member of the firm's China desk.

Joerg studied law at the Universities of Passau and Nottingham and holds a Master of European Law from the University of Nottingham and a Dr. iur. from the University of Passau.
