Jon Aurrecoechea is admitted to practice in Spain (2004) and New York (2009).
During the first six years of his professional career, Jon was mainly devoted to transactional matters, including among others, merger and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, initial public offerings and other capital market transactions, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, commercial contracts, and insolvency.
Based on such transactional experience, Jon is today a lawyer with an unusual cross-wise training and experience that allow him being in a superb position for advising and representing clients in complex multidisciplinary matters.
After 12 years of professional experience, Jon is a highly qualified litigation lawyer specialized in complex corporate disputes (litigation and arbitration) deriving form M&A transactions, shareholders agreements, private equity transactions, joint ventures, corporate liability actions, challenge of corporate resolutions, etc.
Jon also has broad experience in commercial and contractual litigation and arbitration in numerous sectors, such as automotive, industrial, e-commerce, real estate, or consumer law.
During the last years, Jon has advised several companies (as claimants and defendants) in antitrust litigation (i.e., private damage actions deriving from antitrust infringements, such as cartels).
Jon's experience also spreads to the representation of different entities in unfair competition proceedings.
