Byron Phillips is a seasoned disputes lawyer and strategic advisor based in our Hong Kong office, with more than fifteen years of experience in resolving critical issues for clients. He has a particular focus on complex commercial arbitration and litigation, financial services investigations, white-collar crime and fraud, insolvency litigation, and professional liability disputes for both public and private sector clients.
Byron has a keen interest and extensive experience in technology-related arbitration and litigation, cybersecurity, data privacy and all aspects of digital transformation. As technology continues to influence all areas of law, including litigation, arbitration, and investigations, Byron collaborates with clients to help them navigate their evolving risk landscapes. He ensures they leverage technology effectively to mitigate these risks.
In addition, Byron advises private capital investors on investment, shareholder, and partnership disputes, as well as regulatory considerations across the region.
Byron leads the Asia Pacific Pro Bono Practice at Hogan Lovells, with a passionate commitment to community investment.
