François-Xavier MICHEL
François-Xavier MICHEL joined Cornet Vincent Ségurel on 1st January 2010 as a commercial law partner upon the opening of the Rennes Office, after thirty years' experience on the Bar. François-Xavier MICHEL holds two specialist certificates, in labour/employment law and agrarian law; he works in each of the areas, providing advisory and litigation services. In the area of labour/employment law, he advises companies in various areas involving human resources: relations with employees and employee representation bodies and employment agreements (collective labour bargaining agreements, employment agreements), management of employee representation bodies and relations with unions, employee profit sharing and investment plans, and training. He has developed a renown expertise in restructuring of companies, in particular acquisitions and sales, outsourcing, job protection plans (“plans de sauvegarde de l’Emploi”). He also handles individual relations (preparation, life, and termination of an employment agreement), providing both advisory and litigation services. He teaches continuing legal education courses for lawyers in employment law at the Ecole des avocats du grand ouest [school for lawyers in western France]. He also works in the area of employment law in agriculture. In agrarian law, François-Xavier MICHEL practices in all areas of agricultural activity, accompanying agricultural companies, when they are organised (or acquisition), its growth and development, managing required administrative and governmental permits and authorisations, transmission. He also handles problems relating to agrarian leases. In the economy, agriculture is continually changing. The law applicable to it changes along with it and has become broader and broader. The development of contractualisation in agriculture is an example. François-Xavier MICHEL advises the various actors in this area and groups in particular (cooperatives, groupings of producers, etc.) with these changes, offering both advisory and litigation services.

Jérôme WIEHN
Jérôme WIEHN joined Cornet Vincent Ségurel in 1994 and became a partner in 2001. Holder of a joint degree in private law from the universities of Poitiers and Montréal and a master's degree in business law from the University of Rennes, he has a two-fold expertise as advisor and litigator. He began his career in various areas of company law, like mergers and acquisitions/restructurings, construction law, and commercial contracts law. In supporting his clients, he developed expertise and professional skills in the following areas : computers and management information, publishers, IT services companies and their clients, building trades/construction and industry, distribution (franchises and marketing networks), tourism. With a broad vision of various company law problems and their legal and strategic solutions, Jérôme WIEHN has strong experience and great ability to work in the area of commercial agreements, management of litigation, retailing, computers and information technology, patents and trademarks.
Luc-Marie AUGAGNEUR
Luc-Marie AUGAGNEUR holds a Diploma in Corporate Counsel from Lyon III University (Jean Moulin) and the Rhône-Alpes Law School (Lyon). He has been practicing law since 2003.  In 2020, he joined Cornet Vincent Ségurel's Lyon office as Partner to bring his expertise in Competition, Distribution, Business Law Litigation, Economic Criminal Law and Digital Law. Luc-Marie has comprehensive experience in Marketing Law, Intellectual Property, as well as in IT, AI and Compliance. He assists many clients with multiple profiles: French and foreign companies, mid-sized companies (ETI), leading SMEs as well as start-ups. Driven by the transmission of knowledge, he works with students of the DJCE of Lyon and Strasbourg (Competition Law) and the Master II "Advanced Business Law" (Digital Economy) of Jean-Moulin Lyon III University. In particular, he speaks at numerous university conferences in France and abroad, as well as at professional conferences. Luc-Marie AUGAGNEUR is also the author of numerous articles in the leading French legal journals JCP G, JCP E, L'AJ Contrats and RTD COM (Dalloz) as well as contributions to several collective works such as "Compliance : l'entreprise, le régulateur et le juge" (ed. Dalloz) and "Les principales clauses des contrats d'affaires" (ed. Lextenso). His appetite and curiosity for NICTs and the economy of tomorrow motivate him to participate in projects that bring innovation: he is a partner of Digital League, the Auvergne - Rhône-Alpes cluster for digital companies, and he is a member of the Lyon Bar Association Incubator.
