Dispute Management

Howard is a partner in the firm's dispute management department and has over 30 years litigation experience dealing with a vast array of commercial disputes including contractual claims, large insurance claims, professional negligence, and all aspects of chancery litigation. Howard acts for all types of professional and business partnerships including farming partnerships and has developed a niche for acting for solicitors in partnership disputes. He has also established a substantial reputation in director/shareholder disputes which often involve family companies. He regularly deals with large complex estates involving disputes between executors, trustees and beneficiaries. Howard also has considerable experience of advising in professional negligence actions, particularly those arising out of negligent legal advice. Howard has acted in several large insurance claims following fire damage (122). Howard is a longstanding member of ACTAPS (Association of Contentious Trust & Probate Solicitors) and APP (Association of Partnership Practitioners).
