Partner. Louise handholds clients through a whole spectrum of employment law issues, from recruitment right through to termination. These can include discrimination, contractual issues, disciplinary procedures and family friendly rights. She has particular expertise in restrictive covenants, employer's immigration issues, director/employee/shareholder disputes and TUPE. Most of Louise's clients are employers, but she does also advise and support senior executives negotiating their exit from an organisation. She is a member of the firm's Charities and Social Enterprise Group and acts for a number of clients in the education sector. Her clients include Leeds City College, Jacuzzi, Bradford Grammar School, the Higher Education Academy, Vocalink and Costcutter. Louise also speaks regularly at seminars, both at the firm's events and as a guest speaker for external organisations including CIPD. Her seminars are practical and jargon-free and she is consistently rated as "excellent" by delegates. She has appeared in the local press and on BBC Radio and TV as an employment law expert, and is consistently listed as a key individual in her field in the Chambers & Partners UK and The Legal 500 UK directories.
