Compliance & CSR
As officers of the court, we are subject to strict professional ethics rules upheld by our bar association.
We have also adopted a Code of Ethics as well as anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and data privacy policies. We are one of the rare French law firms to have designated an Ethics and CSR Officer and we are members of the Cercle de la Compliance, France’s leading E&C professional association.
Beyond adhering to these fundamental principles, we seek to act as a responsible corporate citizen, including with regards environmental stewardship. Our commitment to environmental stewardship is namely demonstrated by our carrying out an annual carbon impact assessment and through our choice of office space within the Centorial, known for its dedication to this cause. We pay special attention to the energy efficiency of our premises, including electricity and heating management.
Furthermore, we have implemented a paper recycling program for several years, complementing our ongoing efforts to reduce paper usage. This includes prudent print management and the practice of reusing documents that would otherwise be discarded after single-sided use. We also eschew the use of plastic bottles both internally and during client meetings, opting instead for readily available water fountains. Additionally, our coffee machines utilize whole beans instead of capsules, reflecting our commitment to sustainability. Furthermore, we diligently sort our waste to ensure proper recycling and disposal.

Pro Bono
Our lawyers are committed to the principle of social responsibility in the legal profession, recognizing the mutual benefits that arise when the legal system is accessible to all. To support this commitment, the firm grants billable hour credit for pro bono work. Additionally, our lawyers actively participate in various charitable initiatives, including La Cravate Solidaire and Le Bus de la Solidarité.
The Bus de la Solidarité’s mission is to provide access to justice and legal advice to vulnerable populations. Since January 2016, our
associates provide free legal advice once a month. This represents approximately 100 hours per year.
La Cravate Solidaire fights against appearance-based discrimination in the hiring process. La Cravate Solidaire provides beneficiaries with professional attire and training on CV drafting and interviews. One of our senior partners is a member of the Board and, in addition to clothing donations, we provide free legal support to assist it in becoming a national player on this issue.
Juris’run: the firm’s members participate in the run organized by the ACE-JA in support of the charitable organization, Club des Six, which provides housing for disabled adults throughout France. Our attorneys also took part in several races to support the fight against breast cancer (Odysséa).
