Position

Nabeel Rehman is the head of Corporate & Commercial Department at ANZ Partners and based in Islamabad Office. Mr. Rehman is an experienced and dedicated Corporate Lawyer who focuses his practice on corporate and commercial litigation. He plays a crucial role in advising and representing private entities in Pakistan and overseas in all legal aspects of their practice, including constitutional law, assets tracing and recovery, actions against former company officers, company’s internal matters, arbitration, taxation and energy laws amongst others. Furthermore on behalf of ANZ partners, Mr. Rehman has been responsible for representing private entities and manufacturers before National Tariff Commission pertaining to anti-dumping, countervailing and safe guard measures and before NEPRA related tariff matters.

As a partner of the firm, Mr Rehman has had the liberty to handle legal matters of several well-known international and local companies/entities and Embassies. His clients include UNHCR, ILO, Serene Airlines, International NGOs such as Save the Children (SCF), Muslim Hands (MH), Muslim Aid, Pakistan (MAP) and Islamic Relief (IR) to name a few.

Mr Rehman has also advised Embassies on various labour issues and drafted Rules For Local Staff in Danish Embassy & Pension Rules & Regulations for Pakistan Nursing Council. In terms to litigation, Mr. Rehman has gained immense experience in a very short time and so far has been counsel in more than 200 cases in High Court. Mr. Rehman was also nominated by UNHCR for ‘Young Outstanding Lawyer Award, 2018’ by International Bar Association (IBA) wherein he was shortlisted as one of the finalists from all over the world and excerpt of his achievement was published on their official webpage.

Aside from his work in the firm, Mr Rehman is Accredited Mediator qualified from CMA (UK).
