Aqeel Malik
Aqeel Malik is a Barrister-at-Law and the head of Criminal & International Law Department at ANZ Partners based at the Islamabad Office and is a member at the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, London, United Kingdom. Mr. Malik has a wide rage of experience and expertise within the International and Criminal Law spectrum and focuses on niche areas of law within his practice. He undertakes a pivotal role in advising and representing various international organisations and diplomatic missions based in Pakistan. On behalf of ANZ Partners, Mr. Malik has represented the former Federal Minister of Interior Affairs before the Election Commission of Pakistan, the Election Tribunal and the High Courts to name a few. Further, Mr. Malik has also led the INGO Registration Cell at the Pakistan Humanitarian Forum (PHF) and has advised over 60 INGO based in Pakistan aside from his day-to-day law practice.As a partner at the firm, Mr. Malik has had an opportunity to lead a number of important cases of federal employees and government officials. Mr. Malik has regularly been invited to attend various international conferences, trainings and seminars all over the world as a speaker, participant, navigator, facilitator and a moderator including the ASEM Young Leaders’ Summit in conjunction with the ASEM Summit in Brussels, Belgium.
Hamza Humayun Rashid
Mr. Hamza Humayun is a lawyer based in Lahore. He is Post-grad in law from Northumbria University and the Managing Partner-head of ANZ Partners Lahore Office. He is engaged in rendering wide array of legal services to his client. Over a past few years, he is also a faculty Member of University of Lahore teaching, inter alia, Law of Tort, Law of Taxation and Banking Law. Mr. Hamza Humayun is also a Legal Panelist on a TV programmed “Qanun Kya Kehta Ha” on KN News and has pin pointed several legal and social issues prevailing in Pakistan requiring considerable reforms. Mr. Hamza Humayun has represented several high profile cases at several forums amongst others, before High Court of Lahore, Accountability court, Election Commission, Federal and Provincial Tax Tribunal and PEMRA.

Nabeel Rehman
Nabeel Rehman is the head of Corporate & Commercial Department at ANZ Partners and based in Islamabad Office. Mr. Rehman is an experienced and dedicated Corporate Lawyer who focuses his practice on corporate and commercial litigation. He plays a crucial role in advising and representing private entities in Pakistan and overseas in all legal aspects of their practice, including constitutional law, assets tracing and recovery, actions against former company officers, company’s internal matters, arbitration, taxation and energy laws amongst others. Furthermore on behalf of ANZ partners, Mr. Rehman has been responsible for representing private entities and manufacturers before National Tariff Commission pertaining to anti-dumping, countervailing and safe guard measures and before NEPRA related tariff matters.As a partner of the firm, Mr Rehman has had the liberty to handle legal matters of several well-known international and local companies/entities and Embassies. His clients include UNHCR, ILO, Serene Airlines, International NGOs such as Save the Children (SCF), Muslim Hands (MH), Muslim Aid, Pakistan (MAP) and Islamic Relief (IR) to name a few.Mr Rehman has also advised Embassies on various labour issues and drafted Rules For Local Staff in Danish Embassy & Pension Rules & Regulations for Pakistan Nursing Council. In terms to litigation, Mr. Rehman has gained immense experience in a very short time and so far has been counsel in more than 200 cases in High Court. Mr. Rehman was also nominated by UNHCR for ‘Young Outstanding Lawyer Award, 2018’ by International Bar Association (IBA) wherein he was shortlisted as one of the finalists from all over the world and excerpt of his achievement was published on their official webpage.Aside from his work in the firm, Mr Rehman is Accredited Mediator qualified from CMA (UK).
