Moore Legal is an international network of law firms operating in partnership with Moore Global's member firms. Moore Legal is represented in Hungary by Moore Legal Kovács Ügyvédi Iroda. Moore Legal Kovács is a full-service Hungarian law firm with a main focus and significant experience in corporate law, M&A, capital markets, and employment law.  Our clients include Hungarian and international financial institutions, corporations and private investors, as well as investment funds and governmental agencies.

Each of our founding members have started their professional career at either one of the most significant Hungarian law firms or in the Budapest offices of the world’s largest international law firms.  Our professional experience and commitment enabled us to set up a young, talented and customer-friendly team who fully understands the business and legal expectations of both local and multinational clients.

Joining Moore Global and Moore Hungary in December 2021 enabled us to offer a more complex, 'one-stop-shop' service to our existing and future clients, and to provide fast and efficient advice on cross-border issues and transactions, by involving the law firms in the Moore Legal network alongside Moore Global.

Banking and finance: The firm offers a full spectrum of banking and finance services, particularly specialising in the preparation and negotiation of credit facility agreements, bank financing documentation, specialised collateral structures and agreements and due diligence exercises relating to financing matters, as well as the issuance of legal opinions and registration proceedings. Our team also has outstanding experience negotiating corporate and residential credit facilities, as well as receivables portfolio transfer agreements in both buy and sell-side deals.

Hotel law: We have unique experience in the Hungarian market in assisting clients with the development and acquisition of hotels, as well as drafting and negotiation of lease, hotel management and franchise agreements, primarily on the investor side, vis-à-vis domestic and international hotel management companies (Accor, Radisson, Hilton, Marriott, Starwood, Accent).
