PORTUGAL - THE RIGHT TO SUFFRAGE VS THE RIGHT TO HEALTH PROTECTION

In the context of the pandemic of the disease COVID-19, determines the Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 5-A/2022, that measures are changed for those who are subject to compulsory confinement on the 30th of January 2022. Exceptionally and exclusively for the exercise of their right to vote, these citizens may attend the elections for the National Assembly. It should be noted that compliance with all other applicable health and public health rules will continue to be required.

ANGOLA - EUROPEAN UNION SUPPORTS AND INVESTS IN ANGOLA

The European Union will provide 275 million euros in funding for projects to diversify the economy and human capital in Angola, between 2022 and 2024. Jeannette Seppen, head of the EU delegation in Angola, has confidence in Angola's future and supports greater intervention of the private sector in the economy, thus calling on investors from all EU member countries to invest in Angola.

With more and better investment there will be the potential to materialize investment projects with a great impact on economic growth, employment and the development of the country's human capital.

MOZAMBIQUE – RWANDAN ENTREPRENEURS INTERESTED IN INVESTING IN THE MOZAMBICAN MARKET

At the end of the meeting of 24th edition of the Rwanda International Trade Fair, Mozambique was declared “Best Foreign Exhibitor Country”.

More than 400 exhibitors from 15 countries took part in the fair, which provided an opportunity for interaction through entrepreneurs and consumers meetings, with the aim of establishing partnerships and exploring new investment and business opportunities in the face of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

This was Mozambique’s first participation in the Rwanda International Fair, an event organized by the Private Sector Federation (PSF) in partnership with the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MINICOM), the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and other key institutions.

DUBAI – EXPO DUBAI 2020

Until 31st March 2022, Expo Dubai 2020, with the presence of 190 countries, brings together innovation, technology, culture. The event is expected to attract 25 million people, with each participating country having its own pavilion for the first time. This is the largest and oldest cultural event in the world, which originated in 1851. From art, culture, education, investment, entrepreneurship, among others, the combination between all areas and so many countries, becomes the most diverse event of today.
