Magdalena Tyrakowska-Szymczak advises Polish and foreign capital groups.

She manages the work of a team of over a dozen specialists, successfully linking project work with dedicated customer service. Magdalena combines legal knowledge with strong skills in tax and public aid issues, which enables her to provide comprehensive service for complex and multifaceted projects while ensuring the highest standards of compliance.

She specializes in public aid. In her legal work she has managed strategic investments from the Polish and the European Commission’s perspective, taking an active part in obtaining public aid packages (cash grants, SEZ, decisions on support, property tax relief, subsidy agreements) for dozens of enterprises.

In the IR area, Magdalena drafts reporting standards policies on the basis of MAR. She has participated in multi-level projects involving the acquisition of publicly listed entities, private subscriptions, bond issues, delisting options and squeeze outs. She is responsible for composing remuneration policies for many issuers and has experience in both conceptual consulting and in tax law implementation of various forms of incentive programs (issue of subscription warrants, share options, buy-back, derivatives, options based on target capital or use of property rights).

She successfully conducts tax litigation, representing clients (both private individuals and corporations) in customs, tax and administrative proceedings.

A speaker and participant at numerous conferences, including those organized in cooperation with the Polish Association of Listed Companies, the Ministry of Enterprise and Technology, the Polish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PFR Group).

Education

She graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Wrocław, studied at the University of Köln, and is a graduate of the School of German Law in cooperation with Humboldt University of Berlin. She completed PhD studies at the Department of Economic and Commercial Law at the University of Wrocław.
