Jacqueline obtained her Law degree from the University of Leeds. Called to the Bar in 1997, Jacqueline initially had a common law practice, principally in the areas of civil, crime, immigration, and prosecutions for the Crown Prosecutions Service and Department for Work and Pensions. She also worked for the Government Legal Department.
She now specialises in immigration, asylum & human rights cases and criminal cases with a human rights element. Her clients include victims of domestic violence, victims of trafficking, and those seeking asylum from their country of origin.

Jacqueline specialises in immigration, asylum & human rights. She is passionate about human rights, social justice and equality. As an immigration barrister, representing migrants, refugees, trafficked persons, and other displaced persons, she is always striving to obtain the best possible outcomes for her clients enabling them to rebuild their lives within the UK. She is also instructed on behalf of the Home Office.
Crime
Jacqueline’s practice includes defending and prosecuting in both the Crown and Magistrates’ courts. She focuses on criminal cases with a human rights element.
