Managing Associate

Ileana specializes in the dispute resolution field, with a particular focus on intellectual property disputes, especially patent and copyrights litigation. Her expertise also covers projects related to media law, freedom of expresson and reputation management.

In addition to national litigation cases, Ileana has acted as counsel in arbitration proceedings under major arbitration rules before the Romanian Court of International Commercial Arbitration.

Ileana’s current practice also includes advising clients across a wide range of industries on various matters involving national and European law (intellectual property, consumer protection etc.), as well as domestic and international business law, handling pre-litigation correspondence or drafting and reviewing commercial agreements.

Adding to her involvement in the firm’s initiatives, Ileana acts as a key contact at BACIU PARTNERS in relation to the law students’ associations. Also, she is one of the promoters and Master of Ceremony for the Intellectual Property Moot Court Competition organized by the firm.
