Career

Francisco is a well-known lawyer that has more than 30 years of experience in local tax matters, achieving important favorable judicial precedents, and is the leader in advisory and litigation of the Local Taxes and Social Security Contributions areas in the Firm.

His litigation practice covers all applicable local taxes in Mexico, as well as disputes between employers and the IMSS and INFONAVIT. His professional experience includes litigation advice in administrative matters related to real estate, provision of services and employee benefits, among others.

He has advised different private sector organizations in the analysis of bills related to social security and labor law. Clients in the areas under his responsibility are national and international companies with many employees or properties, in different locations, which need to be up to date in the fulfillment of obligations before multiple authorities (taxes, social security, labor legislation, civil protection, etc.).

He has also been professor of tax law at the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA).

Francisco Gutierrez-Zamora was admitted as Partner of Chevez Ruiz Zamarripa in 2006.
