Career

He is highly recognized by national and international publications as one of the best lawyers in competition law in Colombia. He has served as advisor and has represented numerous clients in some of the most important and acclaimed cases related with anti-competitive practices, unfair competition, consumer protection and merger controls.

Mr. Miranda has chaired the Law and Economics Department of Javeriana University’s Law School since 2003. He is a Founding Member and Director of the Center for Studies on Competition Law – CEDEC and he has been Professor of Competition Law at Javeriana University, Los Andes University and Externado University among others. Additionally, he has been appointed by the Colombian Competition Authority as a Non Governmental Advisor – NGA – before the International Competition Network – ICN–.
