Career

Rodrigo Juárez, an expert in the field of telecommunications and economic competition with an outstanding career in the public and private sector in Mexico. He served as general director of Monopolistic Practices and Unlawful Concentrations in the Investigative Authority of the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT), where he led and coordinated key investigations in telecommunications, antitrust and digital markets, contributing to the strengthening of the country's regulatory framework.

Throughout his career, Rodrigo has worked in various sectors, acquiring broad and deep experience in the analysis and resolution of complex issues. As a consultant, he has been responsible for the design and implementation of regulatory and public policy instruments focused on high-tech industries, standardization, economic competition and administrative electronic procedures  means. He has also played an active role in the litigation and resolution of several cases in areas such as intellectual property, administrative law, and commercial law.

He has several specializations and certifications from recognized academic institutions such as the Barcelona School of Economics, the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and the Centro de Investigación e Innovación en Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (Infotec). He also completed a secondment program at the firm O'Melveny & Myers, LLP, in Los Angeles.
