LMG is a boutique-sized law firm with roots that trace back decades. In current form it came to be when the firms LMB and Mandat merged in 2018. The merger equipped the firm with expertise and experience across various fields of legal practice. The firm lawyers take pride in having the flexibility and proximity of a boutique-sized firm but still offering advise on a broad filed of law and servicing different clients.

The firm has a broad experience in servicing international clients, e.g. on direct investment, M&A projects, real estate, hospitality and disputes. Further more the firm has strong roots in the local market offering services to both public and private clients across the field. This speaks to the firm’s flexibility and resourcefulness in managing matters of different size and scope.

Eva Helgadóttir, partner, is a recognized and experienced litigator. She is licensed to litigate cases in all three tiers of the Icelandic court system and has tried over 50 cases with the Supreme Court of Iceland in her career.

Haraldur Flosi Tryggvason Klein, partner, holds a law degree from University of Iceland as well as a M.Jur degree from Oxford University and MBA from Oxford Brooks University. In his work Haraldur has focused on the fields of contracts and restructuring of companies. He has also advised on large real estate investment and hotel development projects.

Oddur Ástráðsson, partner, holds a degree in International Tax Law from Uppsala University. He is considered as one of the most promising legal professionals in the Icelandic market. He has advised on large-scale M&A projects for international clients and high-level international disputes, guaranteeing valuable results for his clients.

Stefán Árni Auðólfsson, partner,  Cand.jur., LL.M. in International Commercial Law from Kent Law School and holds an exam in securities trading. Stefán Árni is a well regarded litigator and legal advisor for both individuals as well as businesses, with a strong profile on advise in contract and business matters. He has been counsel to such different entities like startups and pension funds and advised on a variety of cross boarder agreements on sales and investments.

Þorsteinn Ingason, partner. Thorsteinn has been involved in several large-scale M&A projects and his hands-on approach to providing corporate advice to both start-ups and mid-market companies is gaining an increasing reputation.
