Position

Partner - Julie has a broad ranging practice in intellectual property and information technology and represents start-up companies as well as well-established multi-national companies.

Julie has significant experience advising clients regarding strategically structuring their intellectual property estates and working to create an integrated and balanced portfolio that effectively combines intellectual property rights (trademarks, copyright, software, patents, designs and appellations of origin). She assists clients throughout the life cycle of their intangible assets, from their protection to their strategic valuation (audits, license, partnerships and assignment agreements) to their defense through anti-counterfeiting policies, as well as judicial, administrative and custom litigation at French and European levels.

Julie frequently assists clients regarding matters related to digital and innovative technologies (liability of Internet players, e-reputation, artificial intelligence issues), to personal data (RGPD audits, impact analyses, exchanges with the CNIL), as well as to commercial issues (master agreements, commercial litigation).

Julie’s practice covers counseling and litigation, and she focuses on litigating efficiently and ensuring that case strategy matches clients’ business goals. She has acquired particular skills in the understanding of complex technical matters (including software infringement) and their translation into simple terms to enable judges to understand.

Julie’s key areas of expertise include tech and software, luxury goods, sports, wines and spirits, as well as media and publishing.
