Eugene is ranked as a Highly Regarded Tax Practitioner for Indirect Tax and for Tax Controversies by the International Tax Review in 2020 and a Leading Lawyer for Tax by AsiaLaw Profiles in 2020.  Prior to co-founding Taxise, Eugene was the head of an international firm’s Chambers & Partners band 1-ranked Tax, Trade and Wealth Management practice in Singapore and also served as the firm’s regional chair of Trade & Commerce and Indirect Tax Practices.
