WTS Taxise strengthens trade, compliance and transfer pricing practices with the arrival of senior consultants Karmi Leiman and Christine Schwarzl
11 September 2023, Singapore – WTS Taxise is pleased to welcome Karmi Leiman, international trade and compliance specialist, and Christine Schwarzl, transfer pricing specialist who have joined the firm as Consultants. Their arrival further strengthens the firm’s market-recognised capabilities in the areas of international trade and compliance and transfer pricing.
Karmi has over 30 years’ experience in export compliance and trade policy. He founded Leiman Consulting and advising both large and small firms on business issues and government policies arising from the US-China trade tensions and technology rivalry. He is a renowned expert in the US Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and has strong knowledge of export control regimes in non-US jurisdictions, including the Singapore Strategic Goods Control Act. Christine has over 25 years’ experience in international tax and transfer pricing including over 20 years in Asia and seven years with the “big four” firms in Singapore and China.
