Ilias has provided consulting services and in-court assistance in criminal cases predominantly related to criminal medical malpractice, fraud, breach of trust, active and passive bribery, tax evasion, stock exchange offences, insider trading, legalization of profits from illegal activities (money laundering), personal data as well as in cases of European criminal law, extradition and mutual legal assistance. He has also published numerous articles in legal journals.

He is fluent in German and English and conversational in French.

He has been a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2008 and the Munich Bar Association since 2011.

Ilias graduated from the Law School of the University of Athens (2008) and concluded his post-graduate studies in the Penal Sector of the Law Department of the University of Athens (2010). He has already submitted his PhD Thesis in Criminal Law (in the field of medical criminal malpractice) to the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
