Diogo Merten Cruz has over 15 years of experience in Law, working in judicial and extrajudicial advisement to key accounts of the firm. In several cases, Diogo acts as a trusted business advisor, providing advanced solutions on legal and business perspectives, improving clients’ business transactions through his legal background and innovative thinking, as well as helping to maximize results and reduce risks.Diogo has expertise in several areas, specially in Corporate and in Contract Law, Bankruptcy and business reorganization, also performing as a judge appointed administrator in bankruptcy cases. He holds master's and doctor’s degree in Corporate Law, conferred by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, having published a book in corporate law and numerous academic articles. In 2019, he was a Visiting Scholar at Max Planck Institute in Hamburg, Germany, for comparative and international Private Law.
