The formation of B-HSE S.t.A. a r.l. in January 2021 has created a unique offering in the Italian legal market: an environmental, health and safety and administrative law boutique founded by two of the premier lawyers in their field. The founding partners Matteo Benozzo and Francesco Bruno led the environmental law field for almost a decade building reputations as go-to lawyers for some of the largest multinationals operating in Italy in their most challenging and complex environmental and health and safety matters.

In October 2021 a new team lead by Elisabetta Busuito joined the firm. The willingness of their former team members to follow the partners to B-HSE not only means that the firm is very much immediately “up and running”, but also displays the loyalty they inspire in their colleagues. With a female leading partner, one female senior associate, one female junior associate and the newest addition, a female legal trainee, B-HSE displays a high propensity towards the inclusivity and diversity commitment. The female assets of the firm, in fact, amount to almost half of the firm as a whole. In addition, attorney Elisabetta Busuito is specialized in a wide range of activities from formal ones to procedural ones, having a strong expertise in all fields of criminal law and excellent knowledge and awareness of all business needs. She is also a member of the supervisory board of UNICEF pursuant to Decree 231/2001, confirming her interests in human rights and inclusivity issues. Old and new clients have recognized B-HSE’s innovative approach and willingness to guarantee diversity and inclusivity in all the fields.
