Career

Calvin graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) from the University of London’s External Programme in 2010. In the same year he pursued the Certificate of Legal Practice and was awarded the same in 2011.

He read in the Chamber of Messrs. Liza Chan & Co and Messrs. Richard Wee & Yip from January 2013 to October 2013. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in December 2013. Thereafter, he served as a legal associate in the legal firm of Messrs. Brendan Siva from January 2014 to May 2015.

Calvin is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Arbitration and holds a LLM in International Commercial Law.

Calvin is heavily involved in commercial, corporate, construction, intellectual property, and general civil litigation matters; representing multi-national companies, developers, SMEs, and various start-ups. Calvin’s wide expertise and experience in the area of corporate and commercial law provide clients with an insight on all relevant applicable laws and practical business considerations to be taken into account, when making any business decision.

Calvin also actively assists his clients in protecting their intellectual property rights; fending off defamatory remarks; and generally, providing legal solutions as required.
