Marshall Situmorang is a registered Corporate and Commercial Litigation lawyer based in Jakarta.

Marshall has particular expertise in various sectors including technology, pharmacy, logistics, financial services, digital media, marketing and communications, food and beverage, and consumer goods. Marshall’s clients are household names, multinationals, technology majors, Indonesian conglomerates, and international construction companies.

Prior to his current role, Marshall spent more than 14 years working on private legal practices such as Norton Rose Fulbright, and Nurjadin Sumono Mulyadi & Partners. He also worked as a Contract Management Manager at a pharmaceutical company, PT Soho Global Health.

Marshall obtained his Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Indonesia, and Master of Laws (LL.M) in Corporate Finance Law from the University of Westminster, United Kingdom.

To support his professional career, Marshall has obtained a Tax Brevet A&B certificate from the Indonesian Accountant Association/Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia (IAI). He is also a registered Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb) in Singapore.

In 2015, Marshall’s team of legal experts received an acknowledgement as the Winner of the Best In-House Team of the Year from Asian Legal Business (ALB).

Together with his team, he has published legal updates on the Indonesian regulatory environment on Mondaq. They have been awarded as the most read contributors of all Indonesian legal resources that have published their articles on this global platform.
