Senior Associate

Mia Sari (Mia) is an Indonesian qualified lawyer and an experienced legal professional focusing her practice on capital market, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate practices including public listed companies and other financial service companies. She has many years of experience handling matters relating to Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) and very familiar with OJK laws and regulations.

Before joining the firm, she worked for almost 10 years at Hiswara Bunjamin Tandjung, an associated firm of Herbert Smith Freehills (“HBT”) with latest position as the Senior Associate of Capital Market Practice Group. During her time at HBT, Mia was involved in many capital market transactions among others initial public offering (IPO) both local and international offerings, right issue and private placement, public company acquisition with mandatory tender offer. She also assisted and advised on some infrastructure projects such as electricity, toll road and port.

Additionally, she also worked at Prudential Life Insurance as the Senior Company Secretary.

Mia obtained his Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Indonesia.
