Alan joined EY Law Ireland to build a world class law firm that is integrated locally and connected globally. EY Law Ireland provides a seamless service to clients across multiple jurisdictions. The firm harnesses the strength and depth of other disciplines to provide, when required, an end-to-end service to our clients. A service that provides excellence of advice and excellence of delivery.

Prior to establishing EY Law Ireland, Alan was Managing Partner of Eversheds Sutherland (ES) in Ireland (from 2009-2020), Chairman of ES in Europe (2013-2017), a Member of the Global Board of ES (2013-2019) and a Member of the European Board of ES (2009-2020).

Alan is a practising solicitor in Ireland and a solicitor (non-practising) in England and Wales and has also successfully completed the Leadership in Professionals Firms course in Harvard Business School.
