He has advised many high-profile international clients, both listed and unlisted, on a broad range of transactions and corporate advisory matters. Adam is highly experienced with exposure to many diverse fields of corporate law, including M&A, private equity, joint ventures, capital markets, banking and security, commercial litigation, aviation, cleantech, securities law, and real estate. Before joining EY, Adam was a partner at one of Ireland’s leading corporate law firms. He has also worked at one of London’s Magic Circle law firms.

Aidan is a corporate transactional lawyer with over 20 years of experience advising leading Irish and international public, private and semi-state companies, private equity sponsors and other stakeholders across a range of sectors. Aidan specialises in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance/equity capital markets, joint ventures, restructurings and corporate governance legal advice and has acted as lead adviser on some of the largest and most high-profile corporate transactions in the Irish market. Before joining EY Law Ireland, Aidan was a corporate lawyer at one of Ireland’s leading tier 1 corporate law firms in Dublin where he was a senior corporate equity partner for 14 years. Deirdre Malone
Deirdre Malone
Deirdre leads EY Law Ireland’s employment law team, bringing a wealth of experience from over 20 years advising clients. She advises global multinationals and SMEs on day-to-day people issues, workforce planning, restructuring and transactions. Deirdre often collaborates with EY’s People Advisory Service in Ireland, but also connects with the EY Global Law firm network to advise on a broad spectrum of employment law issues in the workplace, from day to day HR advisory support, risk management,  transactions and workplace restructuring. Combining employment law expertise with a commercial and solution-driven focus, Deirdre is highly regarded by clients. She is a member of the Employment Law Review Group, a statutory advisory expert body charged with advising the Minster for Enterprise, Trade and Employment on the review and development of employment law in Ireland. She is also a member of the Law Society of Ireland’s Employment and Equality Committee.

Peter leads the technology and commercial law practice at EY Law Ireland, advising on all aspects of technology law, IP and commercial agreements. Peter’s expertise is built on 20 years’ experience as a Partner in the commercial department of a leading full-service corporate law firm, Head of Intellectual Property, Technology and Privacy at another prominent full-service corporate law firm, and as in-house legal counsel at global payments firm Elavon. Peter ranks highly in Ireland for data protection and technology and at a global level for IP in the leading legal ranking publications. “I achieve better outcomes for our clients and their customers across innovation, new technologies, IP and data by leveraging the multi-disciplinary insights and expertise not only within EY Law but also with our EY colleagues, nationally and internationally. Robert Haniver
Rob works with global and domestic organizations on the development and rollout of innovative technologies with a focus on technology and privacy laws, acting as a trusted advisor. He advises on data protection and privacy, data governance, cybersecurity, platform regulation, technology procurement, outsourcing and transformation projects and emerging issues surrounding Artificial Intelligence and Web3. Rob’s background is in technology, having worked as a certified systems engineer. His early legal career included secondments with global social medias, digital content and moderation projects.
