Career

She advises on corporate law, oil and gas law, mining law and banking and finance law. She also advises on private equity, capital markets law and real estate law.

Experiences

She began her professional career at the Société Nationale d'Investissement du Cameroun (SNI), where she advised the company and its portfolio companies on privatization and capital reconfiguration, professional leases, as well as pre-litigation of labour and criminal law. She also worked for the accounting firm Okalla Ahanda et Associés, supporting the auditing teams.

She then joined the law firm Core, Africa Lawyers, where she takes part in the structuring of investment projects for local and international clients, including upstream oil operators, banks, investment companies and telecommunication services operators. She also provides legal advice and opinions on oil law, tax and customs law, as well as corporate and employment law.

In 2018, she joined the team of marketer BAJ Petroleum where she set up and managed the legal and human resources department before joining the NYA & Co. team in 2021.

Emmanuelle was a member of the Club OHADA- Reflet UCAC during her university studies.

Education

Emmanuelle holds a Master 2 in Business Litigation and Arbitration from the Catholic University of Central Africa obtained with honors, a Master 1 in Business Litigation and Arbitration from the Catholic University of Central Africa obtained with honors and a Bachelor's degree in Legal and Political Sciences from the Catholic University of Central Africa. She also holds a Diploma of University Studies in Social Sciences from the Catholic University of Central Africa and is continuing her learning on various legal subjects, such as the development of African financial markets (ERSUMA) and corporate social responsibility in the OHADA area (ERSUMA).

Leisure

She participated in the annual distributions of the Lyon Food Bank, and was a member of A.S.A.P.H., a Lyon-based association dedicated to humanitarian charity services.
