Career

He advises on corporate law, tax and customs law, oil and gas law, capital markets law and new technologies law.

Experience 

Francis has worked in the energy sector, notably in the legal units of Eneo Cameroon, and Globeleq Cameroon Management Services (GCMS), where he was responsible for advising on pre-litigation and litigation files on the one hand, and giving advice on various matters on behalf of the company.

He also worked at JMJ Africa, where he carried out legal feasibility studies of projects, compliance studies of several activities, legal audits, and drafted contracts.

He then worked at Akoa Mballa & Co, where he drafted company constitutions, worked on a legal and tax structuring operation, and organised a training seminar on the risks associated with structured finance before joining the team at NYA & Co.

Memberships

Francis is a member of the OHADA Clubs of Cameroon, aimed at the popularisation of OHADA law.

Education

Francis holds a Master's degree with honours in Law with a specialization in litigation and arbitration obtained after defending a thesis on the theme "The protection of the environment and gas activity in Cameroon" at the Catholic University of Central Africa, and a Bachelor's degree in business and corporate law obtained at the University of Yaoundé II SOA.

He also followed a training in taxation at the Cameroon Tax and Customs Academy.
