He works in the fields of labor law, corporate law, commercial law, banking law and contract law.

Experiences

André Russel worked at BASSONG law firm where he performed legal due diligence, drafted memos, chronological notes, and conclusions and represented clients at hearings.

Thereafter, he joined the regulation and special projects division of the Legal Affairs Department of Eneo Cameroon, where he was in charge of advising on pre-litigation and litigation files, as well as various projects on which he was involved.

He then worked at the NYEMB law firm, where he was in charge of the creation of companies, their compliance through the obtaining of various approvals; he also ensured the drafting of conclusions in the defense of the firm's clients and their representation at hearings.

Before joining the firm, he worked for the firm AHEAD - Legal Advisory, where he carried out a company transformation operation, drafted legal advice notes, carried out legal secretarial missions, followed an arbitration procedure, carried out the legal compliance of companies and took part in the CIFAF training seminar on the sidelines of the 33rd CIB Congress in N'Djamena

Memberships

André Russel is a member of the Rwandan Bar Association and of the East Africa Law Society, an association of lawyers registered in the Bars of the member countries of the Community of East African States. He is also a member of the OHADA Clubs of Cameroon.

Education

André Russel holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (DLP) from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development (ILPD) in Rwanda. He also holds a Master II in Law, with specialization in International Transport Law and Litigation from the University of Douala. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Private Law from the same university.
