She is a member of the Cameroonian and Nigerian Bars.
She practices mainly in business litigation, corporate law, enforcement and debt collection under OHADA law, civil and criminal procedure as well as international trade law.
She is skilled in business litigation, commercial law, labour law, debt collection, criminal business law as well as in the review of complex transnational contracts.
She also advises on corporate debt restructuring, land law and intellectual property law.

Experience
After obtaining her bar admission certificate in Nigeria in 2018, she joined the Douala based CABINET NYEMB where she developed her practice in the areas of counseling as well as in the field of commercial litigation. She then joined EPENA LAW FIRM as an Associate Lawyer, where she became familiar with Private Equity and Securities Law.
She then joined DJEMENI YANNICK & Partners as an associate, where she developed her skills in assisting and representing clients before the courts and in insolvency and debt settlement proceedings.
Hilary has also been involved in the business world. Prior to becoming a Lawyer, Hilary worked in the Legal department of the Pan-African bank ECOBANK CAMEROUN S.A. as well as in the Insurance company AREA ASSURANCES as a Professional Legal Officer.

She is also a member of the Association of Cameroonian Lawyers from the Nigerian Law School.

Hilary holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Trade and Investment Law in Africa from the University of Dschang (Cameroon), and a Bachelor in Law (LL.B) degree in Law from the University of Buea (Cameroon).
Personal
Hilary enjoys entertaining herself by practicing ballroom dancing in groups.
