Our history: The firm was established in 2020 by the founding and name partners Christina Neugebauer and Nicolai Clan, grew in 2021 by the in-house promotion of partners Rasmus Nyhold Møller and Karina Aggerholm, and was reinforced in 2022 by the hire of partners Henrik Nedergaard Thomsen and Jeanette Løfberg.

All highly experienced and acknowledged dispute resolution partners and underpinned by a strong bench of sector specialists and leads; Christina Neugebauer is a previous partner of Tier 1 firms Lett & Co (now: DLA Piper Denmark) and Kromann Reumert, where she headed the dispute resolution team; Nicolai Clan also originates from Tier 1 firm Kromann Reumert; Henrik Nedergaard Thomsen is a previous partner of Tier 1 firm Poul Schmith, where he co-headed the dispute resolution team and headed the insurance team; and Jeanette Løfberg also originates from Tier 1 firm Poul Schmith and on top a previous dispute resolution lead at insurance industry heavyweight Tryg Forsikring.

Our global outreach: With offices in Copenhagen, we have strong relations to leading law firms across all continents. Through our international work and bar involvement and through dual law degrees under both the civil law and the common law systems, our clients benefit from high-quality multi-jurisdictional advice.

Our work: Trusted by Danish and international household name clients and regarded one of the top go-to practices for the entire insurance market in Denmark in relation to all types of insurance and pension disputes and advisory matters, our integrated teams of disputes and regulatory lawyers provide complete legal service and advice to clients operating at the heart of the insurance and pension industry.

Our battleground retains all lines of insurance and pension. Our key types of work in relation to Danish and cross-border dispute resolution span litigation before all levels of court, national and international arbitration under the auspices of different ad hoc and institutional rules, a broad spectrum of ADR, including mediation, and investigation in relation to personal injury; property insurance; financial lines; general liability; product liability and recall; administrative liability; subrogation and recourse. Our key types of work in relation to regulatory matters include new insurance business, IDD and policy wordings.

We are recognized by clients and peers for our appearance in court. Statistics suggest that, apart from the lawyers at Poul Schmith, we are the most frequent attending law firm in the Supreme Court (250+ cases) and the High Courts (375+ published cases and numerous unpublished cases).
