Areas of practice
Energy and natural resources: We have a long history of providing legal advisory services to an array of conventional and renewable energy players from oil and gas to renewables, including solar, wind, biomass, hydro-electric, waste-to-energy and battery storage. We act as legal advisor for project developers, investors, financial institutions, state-owned enterprises, and public-private partnerships addressing and resolving the most complex energy regulatory issues across all spectrum of the energy industry. Legal due diligence, drafting of legislation and regulatory texts, drafting and negotiating of PPAs and SHAs, dealing with disputes, are just a few of the legal services provided in international and domestic energy issues and projects.

Transport and infrastructure: The depth of our experience and comprehensive understanding of the transport and Infrastructure sectors allow us to be well placed to advise our clients on all aspects of transactions from structuring and financing of large-scale transport and infrastructure projects through to disputes and mergers and acquisitions. Through our work with IFI’s, international institutions, state agencies, major infrastructure and development companies, we have developed industry knowledge required to provide sector-specific support and assistance. Last but not least, we have advised both the public bodies and private investors during privatization of transport and infrastructure projects during the last thirty years.

Real estate: We handle transactions of all sizes and degrees of complexity for a wide range of clients from various sectors, including state-owned companies, whose business models use real estate as a strategic asset, providing them with due diligence, title ownership checking, regulatory compliance, land securitization and advisory services for optimization of the real estate exploitation. We have acted as legal advisors to the Hellenic Public and Development Fund for amendments of legislation, the sale transactions of real estate properties in Greece, being involved in the legal actions necessary for the readiness of the asset to be on sale, preparation of bidding documentation, review of SPA and negotiations with the buyers and conclusion of the transactions in Greece and abroad.

Banking and financial transactions: We offer advice to international financial institutions, commercial banks, businesses and investors on complex funding and financial transactions, including project financing agreements, loan restructuring, non-performing loans, claims, insolvency and company restructuring. We have advised states and private clients on legal structuring of cross-border transactions as well as on the legal risks for multi-country investment projects and legal ways of mitigating such risks.

Healthcare: We support our clients across the health sector with legal advice on national legislation and EU Acquis related to healthcare issues, on funding for facilities, licensing and development of pharmaceutical projects, such as pharmaceutical cannabis plants, construction and operation of hospitals, medical centers. Lamnidis Law is providing legal support to the creation of pharmaceutical factories, including all the pertinent aspects such as licensing and approval from healthcare organisations, financing, and development and construction agreements.

Technology: Our team provides legal advice related to new technologies and innovations to a wide range of businesses across numerous sectors including artificial intelligence, blockchain technology (digital currencies, Non-Fungible Tokens), service applications development, GDPR, information technology and communications, aerospace, offshore energy installations and RES, green transition, waste management systems and technology parks.

Construction: Lamnidis Law is experienced in all legal aspects of the construction process from bid to project closeout providing front-end and back-end legal support to International Financial Institutions, commercial banks, constructors, joint-ventures, project owners, project managers in Greece and abroad working on a variety of types of construction projects, such as ports, roads, railways, utilities, conventional energy projects, high voltage transmission systems, LNG terminals, oil terminals, solar parks, wind parks, biomass facilities, bio-methane and biogas projects, CO2 storages, LNG storages, BESS projects, hotels and leisure installations, hospitals and residential buildings.
