Katarzyna  Bilewska
Professor Katarzyna Bilewska is a partner at BLSK in the Dispute Resolution department. Katarzyna run the Corporate Dispute Practice, participating as an attorney and counsel in a number of precedent-setting corporate disputes, including those of a cross-border nature. She has vast experience in handling complex shareholder disputes and domestic and international court and registry proceedings. She combines expertise in corporate law with practical litigation experience. Katarzyna is also a distinguished scholar and professor at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. She was the head of the Commercial Law Department at this Faculty from 2017 to 2020. Katarzyna authored nearly 200 articles and dissertations on civil and commercial law. In 2024 she co-authored the 5th edition of the major Polish commentary to the Code of Commercial Companies (articles referring to challenging of the corporate resolutions) and the 5th edition of the handbook of Commercial Law (both published by C.H. Beck). Katarzyna also adjudicates as an arbitrator and is also involved in the dissemination of alternative methods of resolving corporate and commercial disputes in Poland.  She was a key member of the Corporate Arbitration Team of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce (SAKIG) which prepared the Rules of the SAKIG Pertaining to Resolution Disputes in force as from 1 January 2022.

Maria Samolińska
Maria Samolińska is a partner at BLSK and a head of the BLSK Pharmaceutical Law and Health Care team. Maria is a pharmacist by education with professional experience in pharmacies and hospital and laboratory as well as in a manufacturing and distribution site of medicinal products. In 2009, Maria joined the Supervision Department of the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate and after 4 years she became the first GDP Inspector in Poland. During almost 6 years of work at the Inspectorate, Maria participated in working groups operating by the European Medicines Agency dealing with issues in the field of legislation and supervision in distribution of medicinal products, medical devices and food in the Member States of the European Union. Maria was also a member of the team that dealt with the prevention of illegal distribution chains of medicinal products in Poland and participated in the process of implementing the provisions of Directive 2001/83/EC into Polish regulations. Since 2015, Maria has been cooperating with Dentons for 8 years, co-creating the Life Sciences advisory team. The scope of Maria's expertise is registration, clinical trials, manufacturing and distribution of medicinal products, medical devices as well as dietary supplements and food. Maria also advises on advertising these products and conducts audits at manufacturing and distribution sites in order to verify the compliance with the requirements of regulatory regulations and with the expectations and accepted practice of the Pharmaceutical and Sanitary Inspection. Since July 2023 Maria joined BLSK as a partner and the Head of the BLSK Pharmaceutical Law and Health Care team.

Wojciech Kozłowski
Wojciech is a partner at BLSK, member of the Dispute Resolution Department and Healthcare and Life Science Team. Wojciech is a legal counsel and litigator with more than 30 years of experience in handling Poland’s largest commercial, administrative and civil lawsuits for corporate clients, including litigations with awards topping one billion euros. He has successfully represented clients in numerous Poland’s biggest and most impactful cases, appearing regularly before courts, including the Supreme Court. His experience encompasses representing and advising clients across the full range of sectors including pharmaceutical, real estate, energy, telecom, banking, civil engineering and infrastructure. Wojciech has also successfully represented investors in disputes with state authorities. His talents include an ability to build dispute resolution strategies and outstanding management skills in handling multifaceted lawsuits and leading teams of lawyers. Of particular note is his extensive experience in securing on behalf of clients numerous innovative court injunctions. He has been involved in more than 100 court proceedings with the total value of claims exceeding EUR 2 billion. In addition to his business activity, he has developed a unique strategic litigation program focused on representing clients pro bono in the field of human rights.
