Panos Kontogeorgakopoulos
Panos is a highly experienced lawyer admitted before the Supreme Court and a member of the Athens Association Bar since 2000. He also holds the position of Scientific Associate in the Faculty of Law at Democritus University of Thrace (D.U.TH., Sector of Private Law). Panos obtained his law degree from Democritus University of Thrace, Faculty of Law, and further pursued an LL.M from the University of Tuebingen, Germany (Universität Tübingen), Faculty of Law, specializing in civil procedure with outstanding academic performance (summa cum laude). He also holds a Ph.D. from Democritus University of Thrace, Faculty of Law, with a focus on civil procedure, where he achieved the highest academic distinction (summa cum laude). In addition to his legal practice, Panos has served as a Special Advisor at the Bureau of the Minister for Justice, Transparency and Human Rights, and the Greek Task Force of the European Union. In these roles, he represented the Ministry for Justice, Transparency and Human Rights, providing invaluable legal advice on the revision of the Greek Code of Civil Procedure. Previously, Panos held the position of managing partner at the renowned law firm Loumaki-Kalimeri & Associates. He also served as the Head of Legal for the international division of Polyeco Group of companies until September 2021.
