Construction and public procurement

Position

Sanne specialises in construction and procurement law. She advises and litigates on a variety of procurement law issues and has extensive experience in setting up and supervising complex procurement and tendering procedures. Sanne has specific expertise in procurement and tenderprocedures within the social domain. She is aware of current social domain-related topics and trends, such as realistic rates, exorbitant profits, healthcare fraud and Bibob.

Sanne also deals construction law and contract law cases. Her focus is on advising professional clients in the realisation of large construction projects such as the construction of the Victory Boogie Woogie Tunnel in The Hague, the renovation of the Binnenhof and the realization of the PALLAS Reactor and the Nuclear Health Centre in Petten. She has experience with both traditional construction contracts (UAV and UAV-GC) and more collaborative construction contracts, such as alliances, two-phase contracts (including 'bouwteams') and various Cost+ contracts (NEC4 and FIDIC). Where necessary, Sanne assists her clients in legal proceedings before the civil courts and the Council of Arbitration in construction disputes.

Sanne regularly lectures and publishes on construction and procurement law for various institutes and in professional journals.

Education

Sanne has a Dutch Law degree.
