Dennis has over 20 years of legal experience in the corporate and commercial, mergers and acquisitions (M&As), securities and public listings and private equity sectors. Based in the Beijing office of international law firms for the past 16 years, Dennis has a thorough understanding of Chinese and international markets and practices, which he leverages to help clients achieve their strategic goals by bridging legal and cultural differences, including Chinese corporates seeking international presence.

Over the years, with a China focus, Dennis has advised many public and private companies, state-owned enterprises, financial institutions and private equity funds on sophisticated cross-border or offshore transactions, including offshore listings, corporate financings, M&As of listed and private companies, private equity investments, regulatory compliance and trust.

Dennis is the author of "International Offerings - Secondary Listing in Hong Kong and Other Jurisdictions" in ALB – Hong Kong IPO Handbook 2020, "Specific Issues in IPOs" in IPO Handbook for Hong Kong 2017 and "Listed Company Compliance Issues" in IPO Handbook for Hong Kong 2015. He also spoke at various seminars and webinars on Hong Kong listings and offshore trust in recent years.

Prior to joining this law firm, Dennis was a Representative and Senior Counsel at a leading international law firm. Prior to that, he was Of Counsel at various international law firms.
