Stephen’s practice focuses on corporate finance and M&A transactions, with particular emphasis on providing solution-based advice in relation to compliance issues and advises clients on investigations and contentious regulatory matters. Stephen also has extensive experience acting for both debtors and creditors in relation to contentious and non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters involving multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration.

Stephen advised on a case which has been awarded the “LegalOne Merits (Exemplary) 2024” and recognised in the “LegalOne Deals of the Year (China) 2023”.

Before taking up various roles with public companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong acting as General Counsel, Company Secretary or Independent Directors, Stephen worked at the Listing Division of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong administering the Listing Rules and vetting IPO applications.
