Career
Stephanie is qualified to practice law in PRC and the State of New York, US. Stephanie has more than 12 years of legal experience in an international law firm, a top "red circle firm" and the law firm of one of the “Big Four” consulting firm. Her practice focuses on private wealth protection and succession planning, family office, family trust and governance, cross-border financing, M&As, and labour disputes.
In private wealth practice, Stephanie has handled dozens of offshore family trusts, family offices and cross-border operational structures projects, provision of cross-border asset protection services and succession-related solutions for wealthy families with international background, including various Forbes listed families. Stephanie has extensive practical experience in dealing with equity planning for listed companies. She successfully advised an American controlling shareholder on the equity placement of a H-share listed company.
Stephanie is also experienced in coordinating with tax advisers, overseas lawyers, trust companies, secretarial companies and banks to provide comprehensive solutions for client’s various cross-border needs. She was invited to speak at seminars and conferences hosted by private banks, trust companies and family offices and has been widely praised by institutions and clients. She also provides legal services to enterprises, including Mainland Chinese clients on making outbound investments, foreign clients investing in Mainland China, and labour law.
Stephanie’s clients are widely distributed in the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, Chengdu-Chongqing area, and other regions, and the industries include real estate, food and beverage, e-commerce, car networking, new energy, etc.
Stephanie is recognised as a Leading Talent of Foreign Affair Lawyers by the Guangzhou Lawyers Association, one of the first batch of outstanding young lawyers selected for Guangzhou "Lingyun Plan" and shortlisted as a Finalist for “Young Lawyer of the Year: South China & Central China - Non Local” at the ALB China Regional Law Awards 2024.
