With a solid track record of more than twenty years of practice and experience, Adrián has represented international and local companies in a wide range of industries, providing sound advice in these areas of the Law.

His experience covers a numerous range of industries, such as pharmaceutical, healthcare, personal care, chemical & agrochemical, metallurgical, infrastructure, hospitality and real estate, among many others.

Before launching Assembla in March, 2024 and for more than 12 years, Adrián was a co-founding partner and contributed to the growth of a mid-size firm based in Mexico City, where he enhanced his entrepreneurial experience as a Partner and achieved market, peer and client recognition in his areas of practice.

From his prior experience and professional formation, Adrián worked in several top transactional Firms in Mexico, including Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez, as well as in the very first boutique Law Firm dedicated exclusively to Environmental Law in Mexico.

Adrián is a Spanish native speaker and is fluent in English, in addition to notions of Portuguese.

Adrián is an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Chamber of Commerce, Centro Mexicano Pro-Bono, and Abogadas MX.

Adrián holds a law degree (JD/LL.B equivalent) from Universidad Iberoamericana -Mexico City-, a Masters degree in Environmental Policy and Management from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and an LL.M. with specialization in Business Law from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, among other environmental, ESG, real estate, health (Life Sciences) and business post-graduate degree diplomas, programs and courses from reputed Mexican and US universities, such as a top business program from IPADE Business School -Mexico City-, the Leading Professional Service Firms Program at Harvard Business School and the Sustainable Finance and ESG Investing Program at NYU Stern School of Business.

Adrián has been ranked in The Legal 500 as a leading lawyer on Environment and Life Sciences for a number of years and, and along with his team and remarkable team efforts, also led his prior Firm to achieve rankings for the Environment and Life Sciences Departments.

At Assembla, despite its recent launching, he has led the Firm along with his team to feature a new Environment department ranking at Chambers and Partners, in addition to individual rankings on Environment and Life Sciences in the same editorial.

Additionally, as a result of extraordinary team efforts, Adrián and his team achieved the accolade of Environment Firm of the Year in The Legal 500 Mexico Awards 2023. Adrián was also shortlisted as Life Sciences of the Year in The Legal 500 Mexico Awards 2024.

As part of his hobbies, Adrián loves traveling, nature, hiking, skiing, music, literature, film, modern art and a good conversation.
