Chair of the Real Estate practice at Assembla. Alejandra specializes in complex transactions within the hospitality and tourism sectors. As head of the Real Estate practice, she has extensive experience in structuring tourism, commercial, and industrial projects. Alejandra is a strong advocate for diversity and gender equity in the legal field.

Alejandra is a partner with extensive experience in real estate, hospitality, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions and corporate social responsibility. Her academic background, international professional trajectory  and multidisciplinary expertise endorse her as a protean and highly qualified lawyer to provide quality legal advice to national and international companies.

Throughout her professional career, Alejandra has assisted Mexican and foreign companies with their operations in Mexico and has participated in various cross-border M&A transactions with real estate components, particularly in the hospitality and tourism sector.  She has participated in a wide array of real estate transactions, including but not limited to; construction and supervision of tourism, commercial, industrial and residential real estate developments, incorporation of condominium regimes, structuring and development of timeshare projects, incorporation of special purpose vehicles, drafting and negotiating leases, trusts, mortgages, purchase and sale agreements and similar contracts. She also has extensive experience in corporate governance and in the organization and regularization of both domestic and foreign companies and has supervised the compliance of obligations derived from the stock exchange legislation of both Mexico and the United States. Before joining the Firm, Alejandra was a senior associate at Ibarra, del Paso y Gallego, where she was appointed as partner in 2023. Previously, she worked  at Grupo Televisa, S.A.B. and was also part of the firm Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enríquez, S.C.

Alejandra is a native Spanish speaker, is fluent in English and has advanced knowledge of Italian. Her fluency in different languages allows her to advise international clients effectively.

Alejandra is an active member of Abogadas MX.

Alejandra obtained her law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana in 2009, in Mexico City and thereafter she completed a Master's Degree in Commercial Law at the University of Edinburgh, in Scotland, United Kingdom, in 2015.

Her hobbies include figure skating, equestrian sports, and art and furniture restoration. She’s also passionate about fashion, especially circular fashion and sustainable economies, which align with her values of innovation and environmental responsibility.
