Barbara Kürner Čad is a Partner at OP ČAD, bringing extensive experience in banking and finance, employment law, commercial law, corporate law, real estate and construction, mergers and acquisitions, sports law, telecommunications, media, and IT, as well as sports law. Her legal career began in the judiciary, where she served as a Judge and later Vice President at the District Court in Ljubljana. This judicial experience provided her with a profound understanding of legal processes and dispute resolution.

Attorney-at-Law Barbara Kürner Čad had gained experience and knowledge in judicature, commercial disputes, as well as bankruptcy and compulsory settlement proceedings and court register matters. After ten years of working as a District Judge in Ljubljana, she became a Member of the Management Board of the Slovenian Development Corporation (“SRD”), in charge of corporate restructuring. She has also served as a member of several Supervisory Boards.

Transitioning from the judiciary, Barbara became a Member of the Management Board at the Slovenian Development Corporation (SRD), focusing on corporate restructuring. Her role involved overseeing complex restructuring projects, enhancing her expertise in corporate governance and financial management.

Barbara has held several notable supervisory positions, including:

Member of the Supervisory Board at Telekom Slovenije d.d. (2017–2021), where she also served as President (2019–2020), contributing to strategic decisions in telecommunications. Member of the Supervisory Board at Loterija Slovenije d.d. (2018–2023), providing oversight in the gaming industry. Member of the Council at the Foundation for Financing of Sports in Slovenia (2018–present), supporting the development of sports initiatives. Member of the Supervisory Board at ABANKA VIPA d.d. (2014–2015), offering guidance in banking operations. Member and President of the Supervisory Board at Gospodarsko Razstavišče d.o.o. (2005–2013), overseeing exhibition and convention center activities.
