Samir SAYAH, a partner with nearly two decades of experience, specializes in mergers and acquisitions as well as corporate law across North Africa. His practice primarily focuses on advising both international and African clients on a range of legal areas including corporate law, investments, exchange control regulations, and business law in Algeria, with a particular emphasis on the healthcare and agribusiness sectors. Samir began his career in Algeria, where he quickly rose to the position of Leading Partner of Africa Practice at international law firms, managing multidisciplinary teams. An active contributor to legal scholarship, he regularly publishes articles in both French and English on Algerian law, notably for LexisNexis, where he serves on the scientific committee, and in Jeune Afrique magazine. He is fluent in Arabic, French, and English.
