Anil Rajani
Anil Rajani
Anil Rajani is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team at Rosenblatt. He has extensive experience dealing with individuals and organisations in relation to corporate fraud, white-collar crime and regulatory matters. Anil is a fluent Gujarati speaker and understands Hindi. Anil represents individuals and corporate bodies facing regulatory and investigatory action from the FCA, HSE, Department of BIS, RICS, ACCA, and GMC and others. He is a specialist in confiscation and restraint proceedings and representing individuals and third-party interests under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (PoCA). Anil advises corporate clients in relation to internal investigations and proceedings instituted by regulatory or prosecuting bodies including the SFO, CPS and HMRC. He also advises professionals, including solicitors, on prosecutions. He has experience in dealing with matters from magistrates’ courts through to the Supreme Court. Anil has commented on and written articles about white-collar crime and the impact on professionals and corporates and has been interviewed by the media on a number of occasions.

Anthony Field is Administration Director and a Partner, in the Dispute Resolution team at Rosenblatt Anthony trained at Rosenblatt, becoming a partner in 2008 in the firm’s Dispute Resolution Department. Anthony has extensive experience of commercial disputes, company/shareholder disputes, banking disputes (including mis-selling of interest rate swap products) and negligence claims (including professional negligence). Anthony also has extensive experience in property and landlord/tenant disputes, including breach of covenants, forfeiture, withholding consent, lease renewals and dilapidations. Anthony regularly advises on issues of insolvency and acts on behalf of office holders in relation to their appointments (both out of court and by court application) and advising on various matters arising out of the insolvency, including increasing the insolvent estate, the validity of creditors’ claims, disclaimers of leases and directors’ conduct.
Danielle Carr
Danielle Carr
Danielle Carr is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team at Rosenblatt. Danielle’s commercial litigation, international arbitration and ADR practice focuses on complex (often cross-border) disputes involving insolvency, fraud, trusts, contract, media, IP, professional negligence claims, corporate and regulatory issues, shareholder disputes and group litigation. Danielle’s experience includes obtaining urgent injunctive relief and freezing orders in the English courts. Much of her work is in emerging areas within the TMT, Cryptocurrency and Blockchain, Energy, Banking and Professional Services sectors. An experienced lawyer, Danielle has worked in the UK, Middle East and Australia, including with international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills. Danielle is a Legal 500 (2019) UK Recommended Lawyer in commercial litigation. She regularly speaks at global conferences, publishes articles, and delivered dispute resolution courses for ISDE’s 2017 Masters in International Business Law, Contracting and International Relations. Danielle has appeared as a legal expert on BBC Radio 4 and is on the LexisPSL case analysis specialist panel of authors.
Dean Nicholls
Dean Nicholls
Dean Nicholls is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team at Rosenblatt. Dean has wide-ranging experience, specialising as a commercial litigation and dispute resolution lawyer. Dean has acted in substantial and complex banking and finance disputes, director and shareholder disputes, professional negligence claims and international arbitrations. In addition, he acts for family offices and assists with disputes (and related commercial matters) arising in England as well as coordinating disputes throughout international jurisdictions, which involves identifying and working with overseas lawyers and other experts where necessary. His cases often include allegations of fraud and involve interim remedies including asset freezing injunctions.

Elizabeth Weeks is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team at Rosenblatt. Elizabeth joined Rosenblatt’s Dispute Resolution team in May 2017. Elizabeth has acted on a wide range of complex and high-value contentious commercial issues and has extensive experience of multi-jurisdictional dispute resolution, including litigation, arbitration, adjudication and mediation. She has acted in relation to disputes encompassing contractual disputes, commercial fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, jurisdiction, company, shareholder, partnership, and family business disputes and professional negligence claims. Elizabeth’s work has often involved urgent Court applications and application of a foreign law element. Elizabeth has also acted for a variety of private and public sector clients on a full range of contentious and non-contentious construction matters, from advice on procurement methods and the negotiation and implementation of construction contracts through to dispute avoidance and resolution. On the contentious front, Elizabeth has experience of high-value multi-party litigation in the Technology and Construction Court (the “TCC”) and of adjudication.
Hannah  Jones
Hannah Jones
Hannah Jones has experience acting on complex commercial disputes, often of a multi-jurisdictional nature. She represents clients in litigation and arbitration concerning civil fraud, shareholders’ disputes, directors’ conduct, and contentious insolvency. Hannah has also acted on insurance and regulatory claims. She has regularly appeared as sole counsel in the High and District Courts of New Zealand, including on behalf of the Crown in respect of criminal prosecution cases.

Ian Rosenblatt OBE
Ian Rosenblatt is the Founder and Senior Partner at Rosenblatt. His practice covers both Dispute Resolution and corporate work. His contentious work includes shareholder disputes, breach of trust and breach of duty, defamation, securities litigation and litigation strategies in corporate takeovers. He has a great deal of experience of urgent court applications, injunctions and ancillary remedies. Ian’s corporate work includes public and private company M&A, IPOs (on the AIM and the Full List), corporate restructuring and reorganisations as well as private equity. Ian’s clients include some of the UK’s leading business people, substantial private corporate clients and a number of larger stock exchange listed companies. Ian is a founder of Redleaf Polhill PR, the leading financial PR agency, now part of Porta Communications plc. He is also the founder of the Rosenblatt Recital Series and a Trustee of the Susan Chilcott Scholarship Fund. In December 2015 the Department for Culture, Media and Sport announced that Ian had been appointed as a Trustee of the National Museums Liverpool. In June 2016 Ian was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s 90th Birthday Honours List for philanthropic services to music.

Ian is a dispute resolution partner with a diverse breadth of experience in complex litigation and asset tracing/recovery matters, often with a cross-border element. These matters frequently include the obtaining of interim relief for clients including asset freezing injunctions, together with preservation of evidence and third-party disclosure orders. He is also regularly instructed to coordinate and provide strategic advice to clients as part of action taken in common law jurisdictions other than England, including the Channel Islands, the Caribbean, Cyprus, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Justin Nimmo is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team at Rosenblatt. Justin Nimmo joined Rosenblatt in 2008 after previously working for Simmons & Simmons, where he qualified in 1997. He has extensive experience of commercial disputes, including company/shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, fraud and breach of fiduciary duty. Justin also has extensive experience in administrative law and broadcasting law having acted for Ofcom’s forerunner, the Independent Television Commission (ITC), for over three years.

Laura Clatworthy is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution team at Rosenblatt. Laura has expertise in a wide range of business, commercial and contractual disputes such as SPA, warranty, agency, supplier and franchisee disputes. She specialises in unlawful competition practices, business diversion & economic torts involving for example breaches of confidence, directors and fiduciary duties, poaching, post-termination restrictions, inducement, conspiracy & deceit;  and in intellectual property disputes (trade mark infringement/passing off/brand protection). Many of her cases are in the financial services sector and in particular centre around trading and broking. Her work regularly involves injunctions & cross border disputes with conflict of laws issues.

Lucy Hamilton-James is a Legal Director in the Dispute Resolution team at Rosenblatt. Lucy has been with Rosenblatt since May 2012 and specialises in dispute resolution. Lucy’s work tends to focus on high-value financial services claims, often with multiple clients. Prior to coming to Rosenblatt, Lucy’s work had involved carrying out investigations for various professional regulatory bodies and commercial fraud.

Luther Kisanga is a Legal Director in the Dispute Resolution team at Rosenblatt. He is a Barrister with Higher Rights of Audience and acts for clients involved in disputes, as well as investigations and other regulatory matters. The focus of Luther’s work is high-value complex and multi-jurisdictional litigation. Luther has experience of representing companies, directors, liquidators, funds, insurers and high-net-worth individuals across a wide range of industry sectors. His cases have included claims arising from breach of contract, negligence, commercial fraud, debt actions, breach of trust, misrepresentation, unfair prejudice, professional negligence and freezing and disclosure orders.

Matthew Littlestone is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution team at Rosenblatt. Matthew has experience in a wide range of litigation work.  His cases range from contractual disagreements to fraud claims and he has a particular interest in intellectual property disputes including trade mark infringement and passing off. Matthew has acted for a wide variety of individuals, SMEs and large corporates in various market sectors.
Neil Sampson
Neil Sampson
Neil Sampson is an International Partner at Rosenblatt and Memery Crystal. Neil'sbroad portfolio of expertise as a business lawyer includes domestic and international dispute resolution, corporate and commercial transactions (both in the UK and internationally), property transactions and a range of private client matters. He has worked on the listing of several Chinese companies on the London Stock Exchange, while his dispute resolution experience covers a broad range of domestic and commercial litigation, including international arbitration. His diverse experience includes a period as a corporate bankruptcy inspector in Montreal, acting on the acquisition and disposal of major chemical plants in Europe, Asia, and South America, and representing a sovereign government in international arbitration. Neil promotes the firm’s work in many jurisdictions throughout the world with clients from many countries including China, India, Mongolia and across Africa. He works closely with UKTI and other government and non-government trade promotion bodies and has often represented the interests of the City of London and UK business at international meetings. Since 1985 Neil has been active in Asia and is a consultant to our associate firms in Hong Kong, China and Ghana. He is a Freeman of the City of London and Liveryman. For 18 years Neil has been a director of the China-Britain Business Council. He is a member of the International Bar Association and a mediator with the Belt and Road Mediation Centre based in Beijing. He is a partner of Memery Crystal's sister brand Rosenblatt (and has been since 1994) and his role as international partner means that he represents both Memery Crystal and Rosenblatt.

Nick Leigh is a Legal Director in the Dispute Resolution team at Rosenblatt. Nick joined Rosenblatt’s Dispute Resolution team in 2014. He has acted for private and corporate clients on a variety of matters, including breach of contract and negligence claims, email fraud, companies litigation and professional negligence, in the High Court of England and Wales, the Court of Appeal, and in various forums of alternative dispute resolution. Nick advises on all stages of the litigation process, from the initial meeting through to trial, and appeal and costs proceedings.

Simon Walton is a Partner and Deputy Head of the Dispute Resolution team at Rosenblatt. Simon trained at Rosenblatt, becoming a partner in 2013. He has extensive experience of commercial disputes, company/shareholder disputes, and defamation and negligence claims (including professional negligence). Property and landlord/tenant disputes are also among his specialities, and he advises on various matters arising out of insolvency, both in the UK and abroad. In addition, Simon regularly acts for large numbers of residential tenants in service charge disputes with their landlords, appearing regularly in the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal (now called the Lands Tribunal).

Tania MacLeod is a Senior Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution at Rosenblatt. Tania MacLeod combines her position as the firm’s Risk & Pricing Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution. Tania’s particular areas of interest are company, partnership and property disputes. Tania also specialises in insolvency and corporate restructuring. She acts for a wide range of high profile companies from a variety of different sectors, as well as professional firms, individuals in shareholder disputes and insolvency practitioners in a wide range of formal insolvencies. Her international practice has involved litigation in the US, Botswana, South Africa, the Caribbean, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
