Career

Aloysius specialises in banking and finance, advising financial institutions as well as corporate borrowers, business trusts and private equity firms on domestic and cross-border finance transactions. He has experience on bilateral and syndicated loans, real estate financing, leveraged acquisition financing, takeover financing, project financing and fund financing transactions. Aloysius has advised banks and sponsors on project financings, both in Singapore and in the region, including public-private partnership projects in Singapore.

Aloysius has acted as transaction counsel on many cross-border financing transactions. He regularly advises on the financing of investments and development projects in the Asia-Pacific region, particularly in South-east Asia and Greater China. Aloysius has also advised on a number of high-profile Islamic financing transactions in Singapore. He has advised on bilateral and syndicated commodity murabaha financings and sukuk issuances.

Graduated with an LL.B. (Hons) degree from the National University of Singapore and a B.Sc. (Economics and Management) (first class honours) degree from the University of London.
