Graduated from the Law Department of China University of Political Science and Law  in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in law.

Mr. Si CHEN started to practice law in 2004 and has rich and extensive experience in the legal services in respect of investment and financing, securities, and corporate restructuring/reorganization.

Mr. CHEN has completed the legal services for the listing projects of a number of well-known companies in Hong Kong and the United States, including Inner Mongolia Energy Engineering Co., Ltd. , DongFeng Automobile Co., Ltd. , China Construction Bank Corporation , and Baidu.com; meanwhile, he has provided legal services for the major A-share asset restructuring projects of companies such as State Development & Investment Co., Ltd.  and China COSCO Holdings Co., Ltd.. In addition, Mr. CHEN has also been providing legal services for investors such as CDH, Goldman Sachs Fund , Warburg Pincus  and China Development Bank Capital  for their investments in China for a long time, and has provided legal services in connection with various types of bond issuance for a number of enterprises, including South Sea Holding , China National Bluestar Group  and Longfor Properties .

Provided legal services for the following companies to be listed in Hong Kong and the United States:

Acted for Inner Mongolia Energy Engineering Co., Ltd., DongFeng Automobile Co., Ltd., China Construction Bank Corporation, and Red Star Macalline Group Co., Ltd. to handle their H-share listing projects in Hong Kong. Acted for China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. , China Yongda Automobiles Services Holdings Limited , Longfor Properties Co., Ltd. , CIFI Holdings (Group) Co., Ltd. , and China Success Finance Group Holdings Limited  to handle their red-chip listing projects in Hong Kong. Acted for Baidu.com to handle its NASDAQ listing project in the United States.

The projects for CDH to invest in the NEEQ private placement of Zhejiang Sunoren Solar Technology Co., Ltd. , and in Hengyi Petrochemical Co., Ltd. ; the projects for Goldman Sachs to invest in Shanghai CITIC Guojian Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.  and Qingdao Liqun Department Store Group ; the projects for Warburg Pincus to invest in Datong Insurance Agency Co., Ltd. and Evercare Medical Technology Group. Provided legal services for the following companies in various types of bond issuance at home and abroad in the past five years: Longfor Properties, China National Bluestar Group, South Sea Holding, Ping An Insurance Group of China , Gome
